Dubai Watch Week Reveals the “Classic and Contemporary”

For the third year running, Dubai Watch Week commenced today in an elegant purpose built structure at The Gate DIFC. The horology event which was founded by watch  retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, was inaugurated  today by  Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice chairperson of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

Dubai Watch Week this year’s  theme is “Classic and Contemporary” .More than 40 of the world’s leading watchmakers, collectors and horology experts will share their expertise and personal insights into the world of luxury timepieces, while exhibitions, master classes and other exclusive events will give visitors a fascinating glimpse of the staggering complexity of watches, both contemporary and historic.
