For the 11th edition of its Trophee, Chopard rewards Shailene Woodley, rebellious adolescent in The Descendants (Alexander Payne) and Ezra Miller, the new actor to keep an eye on, recently seen in Another Happy Day (Sam Levinson). A partner since 1998 of the Cannes International Film Festival, Chopard signalled its commitment to the “seventh art” in 2001 by creating an award intended to honour the up-and-coming generation of the international movie world. The aim of the Trophee Chopard is to foster new talents by recognising them as Best Young Actor and Actress of the Year.
