LVMH Watch and Jewelry Sales +30 percent in 1H 2011

LVMH reported that sales for the watches and jewelry segment improved 30 percent year on year to $835 million (EUR 576 million), during the first half of fiscal 2011. Total sales for LVMH increased 13 percent to $15 billion (EUR 10.3 billion).  Profit from recurring operations increased by 22 percent year on year to $3.2 billion (EUR 2.2 billion) and group share of net profit rose 25 percent to $1.9 billion (EUR 1.3 billion). The LVMH Group continued to enjoy sustained growth in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
